WISE was developed in 2007 in the UK to provide clients a paperless, environmentally friendly and vastly improved Online Management tool which would cut business owners / Managers admin time and also provide a user friendly simple way of Auditing workplaces, accessing information and ultimately improving / maintaining health, safety and environmental standards.
The WISE system is a cloud based system which wirelessly transfers inspections to your Team of Safety Advisor that allows them to complete their inspection reports whilst on site and for the Clients Personnel / Clients responsible person to sign the screen of the completed report, the signature is also retained electronically on the web version of the report. The report is then sent to a distribution list that can be modified for the specific site, region or client.
The WISE API and Extranet is highly secure. We use industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe.
WISE automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 256-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to our sites, our servers checks that you’re using an approved browser – one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches WISE, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Our servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
The WISE system has a Fault Management facility which allows you Clients to login and close off any faults highlighted. The receivers of these emails can again be simply added / removed via the WISE portal. The WISE portal also enables you to run very detailed reports which show a vast amount of information for any chosen date range on previous inspections and a multitude of KPi’s.
Any changes made to the system generates an automated email confirming the change(s) and the reports are kept on the WISE system which is very simple to navigate, all photos can be expanded on the portal and if required the reports can be re-issued with the closed actions showing. To assist us with our own Environmental targets, everything generated in Wise is electronic so can be completely paperless
